Large Press

Large presses are most effective when printing significant quantities of larger material like annual reports, brochures, user manuals, presentation folders, magazines, catalogs, etc., or projects that require multiple pages.

Your project will benefit from a combination of our press operators (each with at least 20 years experience at Whitley) and the array of equipment they operate—our large offset presses are all manufactured by Heidelberg, the world leader in precision printing equipment. What does all this mean to you? Consistent, superior-quality printing, produced cost-efficiently in the shortest feasible turnaround time.

Process Color Presses

The Heidelberg Speedmaster CD102 press is the most productive press in its class. Whitley has two CD102s featuring improved, high-efficiency feeders and micro-accurate registration systems as well as fully-automated color control. One Speedmaster has five color units, the other six, with an inline aqueous coater. Both Speedmasters are connected in real time to a press-side sheet spectrophotometer as well as linked online to ColorSciences as part of our Color-Certified Digital Proofing process. “State-of-the-art” is an overused expression, but when it’s true, it’s true.

Two-Color Presses

Our Heidelberg SM102-2P combines Speedmaster quality and productivity with a perfector configuration, which allows Whitley to print both sides of your project at once. Our Heidelberg GTO 52, two-color press will run sheets sizes as small as 14-inches by 20 inches.
